Just wondering if anyone uses the petrol 1.4 TSI 150 DSG for towing light trailers, The heaviest trailer I will tow is a max 300kg all up sailing dinghy with a nose weight of around 10kg. How does the 1.4 cope?

Thanks for that, but was just wondering what it's like in real life, how does the mpg suffer, how does it feel behind the car? I've spent the last 7 years in a Defender and sometimes I have a hard time remembering the trailer is there as it makes, as good as no difference to anything at all to anything, mpg included.

In regards to your question.. You won't even feel its on the back at that weight plus minimum drag compared to likes a caravan
