Towing with VRS245

Featured Replies

I am picking my new 245 up later this week, but i just wanted to check whether there would be any issue with towing a caravan with it?

It would probably only be a few times a year. Very lightweight caravan, so don't see any issues with weight, but i just wasn't sure if the different diff would cause any issues (as i'm not sure how these work)

Hopefully not as it's a bit late now anyway!

I think the diff is only OK up to 150mph whilst towing a caravan!

Don't be Fn daft, the engine is limited to 155mph kinda think it'll be safe to go the last 5mph!!!

Its wreckless towers like you, going that extra 5mph that put the rest of us in danger. 120 is plenty.

I think you have to install the optional extra M.I.L. (Mother-in-Law) in the caravan to optimise stability ;)

I think he'll need a lot more than 245PS to get to 120. ;)
