Superb service - urgent help needed

Featured Replies

Just about to cross Europe and the car starts its service nag! What timing

Lucky I have a complete set of service items (filters/oil etc) ready and waiting in he garage and all the tools I need

But can I as hell find torque settings etc!!

Tried out erWin - what a waste of an hour that was

Anyone got a link to notes, forum thread - anything that will give me this basic info?

2014 2.0 Superb is the car I am taking

Thanks

What torque settings do you need?

Wheel bolts, sump plug or oil filter lid?

To be honest I just use common sense and I've been fine for the last 7 DIY services.

Seconded

Sump nut likely to be of concern to the OP. That's the one that can do the most damage. Sorry I can't help though.

Having had the oil filter lid spring a leak returning from a service, I would like to get that one exact myself.

Sump plug not an issue as I suck it out (the oil that is)

I'm fairly sure the oil filter cap has the torque settings stamped on the top

Fairly sure it's 25nm, if it sprung a leak it was more likely that the o ring was put on incorrectly.
