Headlight washer plate missing?

Featured Replies

Hi, there is a little chrome plate under the headlight on my mk2 that has disappeared, fallen it looks like rather than broken. What is the part called and how much to replace? I think it covers headlight washer possibly? Thanks in advance.

Are the covers very easy to fit i.e. just push in?

They can push in if you are lucky. I found it is easier to pull the washer out and then fit the cover.

Thanks, is getting the washer out easy? Sorry i am a cacked handed bar steward lol

I simply pulled very slowly the washer head itself out using my finger and thumb. There is a lot of resistance hence doing it slowly. It has been fine since.

Cheers Danny, sounds ok ta

This happened to me too. Annoyingly because the new version comes as chrome plated I had to get a 2nd to replace my matching colour versions.

All I remember was the cuts on my fingers getting the damn nozzles to stay out. Good luck
