Featured Replies

Can any ody help

upgrded to dab columbus, no issues and all working fine but the maxidot defaults ro the phone settings screen everytime. I can naviagte the phone settings with the steering wheel buttons but I can’t exit to the other options (MFD, audio etc)

if i set a new naviagtion destination on the columbus I can quickly choose MFD or audio on the maxidot but if the phone rings it gets stuck again

i have reset the columbus, disconnected the bluetooth module overnight but nothing works

columbus is running V15 maps and 5238 SW

driving me mad so any help appreciated

Two possibilities:

1. BT module set in coding to VW or SEAT instead of Skoda

2. Gateway set in coding to VW or SEAT instead of Skoda

Thanks for the tips, I have VCDS so I can look but, which section of VCDS are the BT Module and Gateway found so I can check?

if you can help, and it sorts it, I will owe you a beer if you ever come to Basingstoke in the UK!!!

Hi Massline, do you have any recollection of what you changed to make it work? I'm having the a very similar issue with my 2009 fabia which I've upgraded to an RCD510. I can't use my mfd at all and steering wheel congrols don't seem to work either. I have a feeling it could be CAN, but no tangible evidence to support it.. Cheers!
