Is there a way of switching off the main beam symbol on the dashboard? Mainly because when driving at night the blue glare from the main beam symbol is unpleasant, and I'd rather do without it!

 

I can tell when I've got my main beam on, because 1: I can see further ahead, and 2: the indicator stalk is pushed back, meaning there is a physical reminder in the car!

There's no way to switch it off. 

 

Some people can't see it even bright day light. 

Bit of tape over where it shines 

 

Just don't want to be driving around with a weird bit of tape stuck on to the glass in front of the speedometer 

Sorry I meant inside the clocks not the outside

 

Not sure but I think it may be illegal to cover it or remove it.
