Gemini silver wheel silver paint, closest match

Featured Replies

I have a few scuffs on the silver element of my alloys that I would like to rub down and paint over with some silver paint and clear coat. Does anyone know what kind of point it a good match for the light silver element of the wheel?

It may also be useful to find a close match for the dark metallic grey used inside the wheels too.

I've recently got some wheels refurbished (non Octavia) and they painted them the factory colour and put the paint code on the invoice. Maybe worth a friendly chat or get just one done professionally?

I was really surprised on how cheap full refurb was but that was on single colour wheels http://www.wheelclinic.co.uk

I think the issue is the wheels are two tone, so getting them repaired will probably work out around £60 per wheel, we've had wheel refurbished a number of times.

What I'm looking for here is a close match with spray tins so that I can perform some fairly minor repairs at home to keep on top of things. If required, I have a small air compressor and a HVLP gun if I need to get auto paint?

There is place around the corner that I know has a device to colour match and mix paint, I wonder if I would be best off going there. I think I'd just prefer spray tins as it's less hassle.

Do you want to repair the rim of an anthracite alloy? These are diamond finished so paint won't help you much. Just flat it off and brush some clear coat over it, won't be perfect but it will be better.
