Hi all, can someone explain how this whole connected car thing works please? So if you have the DVD /TV payer thing, you can watch it while stationary and it goes dark once you set off....so if you have a tablet in the back can you then stream to the tablet so the kids can watch? Thank in advance.

No - u can't stream the infotainment dvd/tv to a device in ur car, even if they are connected to the car's WLAN.

 

u r better off playing something on the tablet directly. 

if u need a 'data connection' for ur tablet:-

1. hotspot ur mobile and connect the tablet to it

or

2. if ur car has a SIM slot with a data SIM, turn on the car's WLAN and connect the tablet to it.
