VW RCD 310 in Octavia 2012 facelift

Hi,

I have purchased a VW RCD 310 headunit which I am putting in my 2012 Octavia, I have run the dab aerial and tested however I have an issue. I think I need a new fascia as can be seen by picture. Anybody recommend what exactly I need?

You need a sat nav fascia, get one from your local Skoda dealer, a matt black one should cost no more than £10

Wifes car, 1.9 BXE auto, now has orange steering wheel symbol lit up. I wonder if it's low on fluid (don't laugh) then quickly discover it's not going to be that. Hey! I didn't know. I try the old lock to lock trick, it doesn't work. I check the fuse with a multi meter, seems fine. So, what else could it be before I get to the pump and what could I try within the realms of reasonable cost (to myself) ? Pump wise, where is that located? Hi all, long time reader, first time poster. So my car this evening decided that it would sound the alarm...again....but this time no amount of pressing on the key fob, and the other spare fob, starting and stopping the engine etc...would make it shut up. My plan after a few minutes was to drive the car to the nearest trading estate to try and work out what is going on, and yes the alarm was still going off whilst I was driving the car!! Last September my Kamiq 1.5 DSG 2020reg (regularly serviced) displayed 'Gearbox in Emergency Mode'. Very near home so able to limp home. Dealer took it in and fixed it under extended warranty. All okay until a month ago when it happened again, this time far from home. Switched off the car, restarted and all back to normal and drove perfectly. Yesterday it happened again and only D2 available. Started car today, no problem, all working, no warning sign. I'll be contacting the dealer again
