Old VRS - New member

Featured Replies

Evening,

So I've owned a VRS for a while now but never posted! (Bought from a member who i assume was on here!)

After having a few VW Polos, none with any above 50bhp I thought it was time to buy a VRS especially as i now have a mrs whos step dad works for Skoda!!

Picked up the car with 130k ish miles, the usual pd150 turbo, egr delete, remap, coilovers, polybush mounts etc for £1200 (mates rates). Dyno test shows 193bhp and 330 lbs of torque.

Few plans (eventually) such as:

1) refurbed wheels - thinking of a dark grey

2) smoothed boot - lose the VRS sign and SKODA badge

3) new coilovers - current ones are leaking, probably going to go for the FK AK Street Coilovers

4) part smoothed front bumper - the blank plate for the headlight washers (i asssume thats what it is for?) has been stolen so an excuse to get the hole and the other plate removed and smoothed.

5) arches were previously DIY rolled so need sorting

Also, currently living in Newport (South Wales)

Cheers

James
