Front passenger seat recline

Featured Replies

Hi guys - was hoping any Superb owners could help me with a quick question. I'm looking at buying the Superb as a hatchback, but due to my partner's disability it is crucial that the front passenger seat reclines all the way flat (well, as flat as it can, i.e. touching the rear seat). I was in a showroom yesterday and noticed that the hatchback Superb (with electric seat adjusters) could recline all the way back, while the estate Superb (with manual adjusters) could not (it stopped an inch or two away from the rear seat). Could anyone shed any light please? Do all hatchback Superbs recline all the way, while estates do not?

Thank you very much in advance.

The difference will be electric/manual not saloon/estate.

My hatchback Superb has electric seats and they will both recline fully as you require. As mentioned it has nothing to do with whether the car is hatchback or combi.
