Skoda Octavia reversing sensors help

Featured Replies

Hi Folks, could someone help me please? I have a 61 plate Octavia estate, intermittently the sensors would not display on the console, now no display at all, I get the audible beep that I have always had but no display? I tried listening to the sensors and can’t hear anything from any of them? Not too sure how the system works....if one fails does the whole display go off? I Dont really suspect 4 are faulty, Maybe it’s the control unit, can someone advise in “laymans” terms where the unit is and how to get to it.

thank you.

Martin

It could be the parking sensor control module. On my hatchback, its located on the passenger's side of the boot. You need to take the boot side carpet off to get to it. All four of your sensors cant really go at the same time. My speaker once got faulty and the sensors stopped working

Thank you for your advice what speaker was faulty. They have started working again today but I don’t hold out much hope.
