Vcds on tiguan

Featured Replies

Not sure whether there is anyone local to Blackburn that would fancy making 4-5 tweeks on a tiguan along with an injector scan.

At this point the injector scan is the most important, the rest is just to keep the misses happy

Looking too

Change boot screen on rns510 if possible as I have removed it from my skoda and fitted in the tiguan?

Change led colour if possible?

Enable tmc on headunit

Autolock upon reaching 10mph

Directions on maxi dot

Beep on lock

Cheers

Josh

Changing the boot screen is a software change, which can often result in either a black screen or an unstable unit. Changing the led colour is a hardware change, you need to either desolder the green leds and resolder the red ones, or replace the screen pcb inside for a VW one. That will leave you with a unit which matches the button colours of your Tiguan, boots up with a VW logo (if it works) and will then still have the green menu system from the Skoda unit. Best idea overall it sell the Skoda one and buy a VW one. TMC is a feature of the software on the unit. It shouldn't need enabling.

OK thanks for the reply. Iv seen videos of them having the software change but if it results in it being unstable il leave it as is.

I have VCDS in Manchester
