My new superb was built last week, dealer confirmed, any idea how long it will take to get to the dealer and I will actually get to drive it, dealer has advised about 2 weeks, is this realistic?

History on these forums suggest on average 4-6 weeks. Some appear more quickly as it all depends on catching the boat from Emden, which port it arrives at, transport to the dealers and how quickly yhey want the sale on their books.

It will be worth the wait however long it takes.

A lot depends on when it sails from Emden, mine was built week beginning 19/03 and I will collect it this Thursday (12/04). In fact from point of order to delivery is less than 8 weeks which I'm pretty happy about. 

 

It got to the port by the end of that week and was released to the ship that weekend which is perhaps where I was lucky as it sailed the following week. 

Mine was built the week before last and is still sat in Emden docks waiting to be assigned to a ship/crossing. Depending on which UK port your car will go to, it may still be in Germany.

 

I’m  hoping it will be with the dealer in the next 2 weeks, ready to collect last week April.

Basically its a bit of a lottery 

 

Mine was sat at Grimsby docks for a week before it was collected by the dealership
