Hi all I'm new to the forum and registered to ask about this. I picked up my Octavia VRS Blackline Estate last week and overall I'm very happy with it. I've had to change a fuse for the interior lights and replace a headlight bulb but from what I understand it's not been driven an awful lot for a few months now. 

 

I've got a question about the Amundsen+ that I'm hoping someone may be able to help with. When I first start the ignition after it's been parked for a while the Amundsen+ comes on but then turns itself off completely and back on every 20-30 seconds. It seems to stop doing it once the car has been running for a few minutes but it can be a bit irritating. Has anyone else experienced this and can anyone offer any ideas/solutions?

At  a guess...

 

Check the maps version number and see what it's got on. If it shows V10 then there are numerous reports of these maps causing reboot faults on certain units. Downgrading to V9 usually sorts it.

Hi Rustynuts thanks for the reply. If I'm looking at the right thing then it's only V4 which may explain it...

V4 doesn't cause any issues. Only V10. Sounds like a faulty unit to me.
