i wondered if anyone had ever experienced anything like this before?

 

i have no electric windows or door sensors  working on my 03 octavia but if i put the key in the ignition one click then open and close the boot all the windows and door sensors work absolutely fine until i remove the key and then none of the windows/door sensors work again until i repeat the one click of the key and open and close the boot again? it basically means that the car works fine aslong as i do this process before each journey. I have cheked the door wiring and the plugs in the drivers door which are all fine.

 

Weird eh? any ideas?

Central convenience unit issue?

Or boot lock wiring issue.

Sometimes electrical gremlins chew on a wire on one circuit that causes issues through seemingly unrelated circuits.

Have you had it scanned for fault codes?
