Featured Replies

I suspect this might have failed, power to switch but flap will not close, Anyone done this; it seems as if it could be difficult to get access?

I am unsure as to how you would do this but if its a dash out job, its gonna be a pain... I had to have a new fan some time ago and the dash is a one piece unit! Unless you can access the flap after removing the audio and centre vents. Have you tried removing the front control panel?  (Just checking, we are talking about the air-con recirculation here)?

Yes, that is correct, sir; I thought it was gonna be a bitch!!!!

Well, first things first... Always start eleccie faults by ensuring a fully charged good condition battery. Then, disconnect this for ten or so mins. Re-connect and see if the flaps work then... You would be amazed at the amounts of things that won't run on a dull battery or will re-start after removing the battery for a while. The stereo should re-tune its self so no worries there. The windows will most likely need a re-set but that is a doddle. The ecu will re-tune itself too.
