Hi. Can anyone shed light on this issue I am having.

 

The reversing lights & fog lights along with the boot soft close have all failed on my Mark 2.

 

I think the issue may be an earth fault hear where the loom passes into or throught the square section hinge of the small boot. Has any one else had this issue and if they have how did you fix it, if indeed you did.
