Intake air temp sensor G42 signal too high

Featured Replies

Hi all.

My Skoda Octavia vrs diesel 2007 has developed a fault. Basically its lacking power on acceleration. I've had it to the lad who looks after my car and he has replaced the Intake air temp sensor.  Code on reading is 00275 Intake air temp sensor G42 signal too high p0113.

So he is now a bit stumped. I've got a car which has no power and I would obviously like to get this sorted. He has checked the wiring as far as he can but thinks it is now a wiring issue. Has anyone on here had any experience of this and can anyone recommend a decent auto electrician in the Lancaster area. I don't really want to take it back to Skoda.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi, have you managed to solve this problem? I'm having the same issue.

Hi. Yes it got sorted. Turned out it was electrical wiring which was at fault. The mechanic got an auto electrician in and he fixed. Sorted now

Great.  Lights gone off on dash, was fiddling around with all plugs and one wasn't even on, think it was the intake air temp sensor that was unplugged and there were two fuses out of there ports too and it's OK now
