Great (problebly the best)forum

Featured Replies

I’ve been looking  around with the idea of changing from the  diesel yeti to petrol, thinking it would be easy but not the case, (says a lot for the yeti) a MAZDA CX3 ,great quality ,great 2.0 petrol but too small in the rear, bit claustafobic for me.  test drove the Honda HRV good interior space and headroom with sunroof, good drive and finish But the 1.5 vtec, gutless and noisey to say the least is nowhere near what I remember after owning 2x the 1.6 vti in the past.So my main point ,have been using other forums to get as much info on reliability etc etc and you realise just how good this forum really is so a big thank to Colin D and all the members and will be taking advantage of  the cars for sale section as the hunt goes on

I took it that Sad555 was referring to other makes.  His comment "....just how good this forum really is...." doesn't seem in any way judgemental and, given the overlap in membership between the two forums, they would seem to have complementary merits.

Having owned a Octavia vrs and the Yeti I joined this forum prior to buying a Skoda and found it a valuable source of information on both the vehicles good and bad but as it covers all Skoda’s which have similar components  and other topics non Skoda and the format of the whole site in general is superb ,active and very well laid out.no criticism of other sites just how good this one is after looking for info on others.

I came to the same conclusion after researching other makes as a potential replacement for my Roomster.

Now a Yeti owner, I enjoy membership of both Briskoda and the Pipe & Slippers Club :)

Incidentally... whisper it, but AG is actually a big fan of the Yeti ;)

I thought he had a funny sense of humour but put it down to him driving trains for so long.
