I had my Octavia 4x4 1.8t over 10years ago. The engin went so I sold it to my mate. 10years have passed and I have got it back off him. I am looking at putting a new engin in and wanted to know if I could put bigger in???? I done all remap when I had it and the car was silly fast. I am looking at making this car 1 of a kind and spending a lot of money onit. Help would be appreciated on bigger engine what will fit straigh in. Thanks 

R32 engine, destroke to become R30 and turbo it for 600-650 HP rating

Cheers mate. At the minute I have put a 1.8turbo vrs engine in and had it on roll in road but only coming back at 210bhp when I floor it sometimes it boost sometime but then sometimes it just cuts dead like no power. Any ideas 

check ignition and dumpvalve for starters

The whole car is just stressing me out at the minute haha. One thing after another. I think I sorted it all and then it nearly breaks my neck when turbo cuts off like no air or something and car slams forward 

yup, had that issue also on a Opel Calibra Turbo, stalled a bit (like a rev limiter / launch control) while going in boost and after it started boosting again.
