When driving along a twisty a road today i noticed a 5 series behind thought no more of it, then it over took me and i noticed an awesome engine note and at the rear i was very suprised to see the M5 badge. The 5 litre v10 purring away sounded like a low pitched f1 car, from which i think the engine is a road going version of the bmw f1 v10 engine. I dont think it was even worth trying to take him on in the vrs, Running about 500bhp with four huge exhuasts!! A truly awesome car!

Awesome car shame about some of the drivers. Two days ago a nice silver one appeared in my mirror on a very busy m25 (stop/start sort of traffic) and promptly undertook me and cut me up when I was just short of tailgating the car in front. Obviously an exchange of gesticulations took places. What a T**t.

So in the unlikely event that the owner of a silver e60 M5 with the registration B14 BEN is reading this please learn some manners and driving skills.

The latest M5 is one of my favourite cars ever - awesome.

We aren't all the same btw :( but I must say the M6 is my preference over the M5, having driven both
