headlight adjustments

Featured Replies

Anybody know if the 2017 Yeti se has an easy way of adjusting the lights for continental driving or do I have to use those stickers? :wondering:

Are they halogens? If so run with them on their base setting, should have any probs like that !

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with your model's exact specification

but if , like me, you have Xenon headlights, to adjust the setting for driving abroad

there is a Travel Mode menu item in the Maxidot display under Settings.

(Page 69 of the manual refers)

Apologies if my response is akin to a chocolate teapot!

ok thank you

If you have zenon/HID lights there is a setting in the Maxidot menu called "Travel Mode", this will alter the settings of your lights for continental driving.
If that setting is not present then you have "normal" bulb lights and there are two options:

1/ Drop your lights to the lowest setting on the knurled knob on the right of the steering wheel. This is the way I have done it for years.

2/ But the sticky things and then have "fun" trying to find the right place to fit them.

If have not got the headlamp manual height adjustment next to the dash brightness adjuster you will have bi-xenons.

True.
I keep forgetting that. Probably easier than hunting through the Maxidot menu.

Bi-Xenons do the start-up, self levelling dance when you put them on as well. Still makes me smile..!
