Featured Replies

Orange oil light keeps flashing regularly ,Bought new oil level sensor after local garage put computer on and showed that the sensor was faulty ,new sensor cost £95 from skoda ,had it put in ,but same thing still happening ,now computer showing ---please check fault codes in engine control module U101F  mechanical malfunction -current,stored.-----   When light flashes it says sensor workshop  or something like that can somebody help please (stop start not working also but not bothered about that ) i tho i mention that just in case might be related -never know with skoda ---skoda superb 2 litre estate 140 bhp business model late 2014 model ,car drives fines even when flashing no limp mode or anything, so im guessing it cant be that serious or can it ???  my last skoda gave me similar problems ,i just hope its not chaffered wires or somthing ---like for example my 2010 superb greenline the airbag light came on and i was told this and that #need new sensor blah blah and i found out it was the loom in door lol from briskoda forum

Hi @jack3d. You've posted this in the Mk3 thread, so probably won't get much of a response. Repost in the Mk2 bit and I'm sure someone will help.

Sounds a simple case of whoever fitted the replacement hasn’’t cleared the original fault logged in memory. Anyone with VCDS or similar can clear the fault or pop into a local dealer.

Could be BillyJim, but just one word to the wise. In the Mk3 manual it says a flashing red oil light (there's no mention of an orange light) means low oil pressure and stop driving immediately. So it would be worth checking out sooner rather than later if it's the same warning in the Mk2.

This may help. Good luck with getting it sorted.
