How long?

Featured Replies

How long does it take from factory to dealer for the Citigo?

Dealer rang today to say our new Citigo is ready to be shipped to Grimsby.

My first Citigo in 2013 took 4 weeks,My second one last year took just over 2 weeks, the problem is how long they stay in Emden before shipping across to the UK.

Thanks Leckman,we're just getting a little excited that's all :D

Having just been through this with the Karoq, Skoda UK told me....

2days to get to Emden.

Up to 10 working days (2 weeks) at Emden waiting to get on a ship.

Up to 10 working days (2 weeks) at the port of entry, waiting for transport to dealer.

2 days to PDI?

Sorry to be such a pessimist, but those are maximum waiting times. My Karoq took 3.5 weeks from the factory to me.

One thing I did learn, was that transport from the port of entry is by private contractors and the dealer sorts that out. Once your car is released for transport from port of entry, bug the dealer to get it to you ASAP.

My Citigo was built 14/3/17,arrived at Grimsby 23/3/17 and arrived at the dealership 30/3/17.

Good luck, how long will that be from placing the order to collection ?.

So will want to know what is the instrument binnacle like? Followed that previous thread with interest having spotted it a few weeks ago, just after ordering new Citigo SE L.

It was ordered on Thursday 29th March.

We could have picked it up on Monday but Wednesday is more convenient.

Just before the window of opportunity closed we decided to add climate control which we have in the Fabia and really like.

I have the Climate Control on mine, works really well, well worth the money.

@leckman Totally agree, not just for functionality but for the looks aswell!

My first Citigo back in 2013 took 11 weeks from order to collection but I ordered late July so I suppose the 2 week Summer break for the plant was included in that.

I'll be reporting back to the famous binnacle thread later this week no doubt.
