Misfire under medium-heavy acceleration when cold

Hi All,

hopefully this is the right place for someone to assist with my issue.

I have a problem with my 2005 vRS (completely standard) where I have a misfire, or what feels like a misfire, from a cold start when accelerating. As soon as the car is halfway up to regular running temperature it clears and runs normally. To me it feels Like it could be fuel related. I can’t recall the last time the fuel filter was changed so wondering if I should start there first? Just seems odd how it clears once it’s up to temperature.

Any suggestions or info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hello people, I got a 2011, VRS a few days ago. Primarily for a long trip. Seems decent so far, but I want to add power, music and just get things working. I have a few issues/questions. Ok, Matrix Leds are fantastic. When driving on A or B class roads they working perfect, illuminates both sides of the road and cuts out cars at the front or oncoming traffic. I've never been flashed. When I tried to use them on motorway it's a different story. Right headlamp is illuminating as expected but left one doesn't illuminate side of the road but only gives a lot of light far at the front of the car.. I am having problems with the rear offside door lock on our 2018 Super 2.0L SE Technology diesel estate. The drivers door switch panel includes the two child lock buttons. When locking the car the rear offside door remains unlocked, therefore we have to keep it locked via the small turn screw on the edge of the door.
