Turn signal

Featured Replies

Hello,

im new here in this forum.

i have a 2009 skoda octavia facelift 1.6l  102hp

last night i have noticed that when i try to use left turn signal it ticks so fast in unusual way . and when i parked and turned off the car i also noticed that the front left blinker is always on .

so can you help me please figuring out this

best regards

Do you have a HID/xenon kit installed? They quite often cause damage to the BCM which causes an indicator (blinker) to stay on.

If this is the case, you'll need to remove the HID/xenon kit and either fit a new BCM or to find someone who can repair it.

Thank you so much for your help,

i have installed a Korean Xenon kit, but that was one year before.

could it be the reason behind this problem?

and if so, do you recommend me with LED or HID kit that works good. because i'm fed up with these yellow Halogen old lamps.

or should i change with another BCM that can handle LED or Xenon head light ?

you need new BCM + use some relays to prevent it happening again - below is a guide from mikeholroyd
