I decided to take an old Fabia air bag clock spring apart to see what's inside. It's actually just a coil of thin ribbon type cable with five tracks. No spring at all.

 

 

 

My boot is useless at football, the dash doesn't dash anywhere and my wings don't fly. Cars are such a disappointment.
