it looks like it was from the czech equivalent of bbc1.

Think that was a Czech ad circa 1991 - just after the VW takeover.

The car was a pre VW Favorit by the looks of it.

At that time TV had just become liberalised - so the ads were very primative. by Czech standards of the time that was pretty good.

I did see a couple of UK ads circa 1975 - 77. First was for the S100/S110 with a giant peacock flaming it's wings. The second was for the Estelle Mk 1 IIRC on a turntable with hazzard lights flashing and someone going on about the features etc... Wonder if anyone has a copy of these..

Having a Czech father meant you did notice Ad's for Czech things at the time.

sure they weren't just mickey taking adverts on a czech comedy show - like this ad was taken from?
