FL steering wheel.

Featured Replies

This has probably been covered loads of times so sorry if it repeats anything.

Thinking of changing my steering wheel, car is a 2011 Vrs with standard non mf steering wheel. Not really worried about having a mf steering wheel just fancy a flat bottom steering wheel. Have seen plenty of mk3 Vrs mf dsg for sale on eBay, but don’t know what else I would need? Any advice with parts & part numbers would be great.

Thanks all

If you change for a MFSW, you'll probably need a new steering controller as yours is unlikely to support a MFSW.

Assuming you go for a MK3 style MFSW, you'll need buttons from a FL MK2 Superb or FL MK1 Yeti. If the buttons are from a MK3 Octavia or MK3 Superb, they won't work with a FL MK2 Octavia.

I’m not really fussed about the use of MFSW just really like the look & feel of the flat bottom, would the wheel & airbag be a straight swap on its own?
