If I leave my tail gate open fo 30 mins or so my battery goes flat ,anyone else had the same problem

How old is the battery? The only time I've had a problem with one going flat is when the battery was on its last legs...

Seconded - if battery is going flat that quickly with just boot lights - it's cream crackered

yes.. and side doors...radio couldn't be left on for more than 5 mins.

Battery was ok.. too much detail to drag up again. use the search and you will find lots of information.

Hello, As mentioned in the new user section I recently bought a 2012 Skoda Octavia Combi 2. I had to replace LEDs on the dashboard cluster, because speed, oil temp and fuel needles were not lighting up (one burnt LED on each line). I’ve also decided to replace them with red LED (for fun) and yes, I’ve replaced the resistor to match the current draw. After putting everything back together and reconnecting it to the car, I have one issue, the power steering red light is on… I drove a few mil

Skoda supurb 2014 RNS510 unit fitted 3T0035686H .HW version H21 . SW version 6270 Maps 8048 version 10 . Have a problem with start up screen skoda logo misaligned. Believe its a SSD version . Looking to do a SW flash with 6270 or 6276 but can't seem to find them anywhere , have maps version 17 on a disc but want to flash it first. Any help finding the required software would be appreciated willing to pay for it . Thanks in advance , Darren

Octy 2 1.4TSI ESTATE CAXA Quite uncertain where to enter this question. The keyfob#1 has started to cause serious problems with the car alarm system. So far keyfob#2 is working with no problem. Car alarm starting randomly and only disconnecting the battery helped. Yesterday the alarm kept sounding/flashing even when the engine was running - undrivable. Is there a home cure whereby I can remap/reset the key fob? My very helpful auto sparks is unable to help
