Hi guys, I m looking into taking front grill off and  bumper grill and repaint in gloss black. Anyone did this before, is it hard to take it off without damaging?

I'm part way through this myself. Yes, I found it a total pain in the ass to split apart. Lots of careful prying of tabs, combined with a decent bit of brute force to get the centre section to come away 

You can use a small socket, I think I used a 10 mm, to push over some of the clips to compress the plastic tabs without breaking them.
