Can anybody tell me why my occy is only using the fuel in the filter housing and then cutting out, lift pump replaced so know that’s ok? 

Does pump get operation signal?

Have you scanned the car for any fault codes?

 

Car doesn’t run long enough to get a reading, to start at the beginning to give you a better insight, car was running and starting fine but when I got up to 5th or 6th and went to overtake or needed a bit extra when I put my foot down she would start to judder and the vibration was quite strong but if I eased off it would stop, and then putting foot down slowly she would pull away fine, from this I got the wiring loom changed, and she then struggled to start and wouldn’t keep running, checking the injectors no1 was low pressure and had been backing back into the fuel, it was dark grey/black in the tank, replaced injector and cleaned out tank etc, new fuel filter and again she was still doing the same , hard to start and conking out after a five min run, replaced the lift pump as she was draining the filter housing dry, last try she started to smoke and the Rev counter was doing its own thing, turned off and don’t know where to go from here? Any suggestions?
