Petrol 4x4

Featured Replies

Having asked Skoda regarding the possibility of a Karoq 4x4 petrol version I have been told 'no chance" as they would not sell.  I think that they are wrong.

So do I. If they had put the 2.0 tsi in karoq with 4x4 i would have considered it. Instead i ordered the kodiaq....

But that might be what they want us to. ;)

Interesting, before I looked at the Subaru I talked to my dealer and he said that a current order, petrol 2x4, would be probably 40 weeks but that  there would likely be a petrol 4x4 later this year MY19, I guessed. When I asked what would the delivery be for this model he said ‘extended as it would be popular.

Well, Skoda builds the Ateca for Seat and they are putting a 2.0 TSI at 190 PS into that with 4WD and DSG....

That said, maybe Skoda isn't building that many of them and therefor they aren't pushed. Or more likely it is considered too "sporty" for Skoda by the VAG brand manager weenies. .. .:wondering:

The info I received from the Slovenian distributor says that the 1.5 / 4x4 will be available for order later this year, but probably only in the DSG version.

the government will only tax the arse out of it later on

1.5 ti 4x4 dsg will be available at the end of the year. that told me the vendor. I live in the Czech.

Most interesting replies, thanks.  Does being available mean that it is going to be available to order in the UK or elsewhere only?

Channel,

who did you ask at Skoda,  was it Skoda CZ and the CEO

or Skoda UK and the new Brand Director Rod McLeod?

The 1.5 TSI 150ps DSG AWD will be available once they can get the low emissions and economy and WlTP testing,

and when Audi & VW & SEAT have the models with it,

or there will be the Skoda 1.0 TSI Hybrid DSG AWD Skoda SUV's maybe before them.   Someone has to be the real world road test dummies.

The original request was to Skoda Customer Services they replied  with the following paragraph. "I have spoken with our Product Marketing Team who has advised that there are no plans for this vehicle specification to be offered in the UK in the immediate future. The reason for this, is that we do not anticipate that there would be sufficient orders of this specification for the UK market. I am sincerely sorry for any disappointment that this may cause and understand why you would be interested in this product." The end

Typical Skoda UK why do they no just give the customer what it wants like many other countries do? Glad I did not hang on I’d have been so pi**ed waiting for a product that is never going to be an option. So sad, as I said earlier, my dealer was pretty certain it was going to happen.

This is a real show-stopper for me, the Kodiaq is a bit too big so if I can't get an Ateca or a Karoq 1.5 TSI 4x4 then I'll be looking at a Ford Kuga or the new 2019 Dacia Duster 2 when it comes to the UK. It is annoying that I want to give Skoda or Seat my money but they won't take it.

Sportline are 4x4 petrol and diesel

On the Skoda UK configurator now they are 2.0TDI SCR 150ps Manual 4x4.
