Can anyone tell me where the clutch pump & filter are located on the clutch housing (2015 Octavia Scout) & is the pump likely to be Gen 4 or 5?? I've had it up on a trolley jack, but can't spot either parts.... (I've lost 4 wheel drive & have the dreaded fault code!!)

on 2015 model it is likely to be a gen 5 ! As for the location it is near the back end . where the drive shaft ends the haldex begins, the pump u are looking for is on the lower side of the haldex housing , held on with 2 small bolts and the filter is fixed on the end of the pump . you will see it when u pull the pump out.
