I am an Octavia owner in Hants....hopeful of hints n' help . My dad had a late 50's Skoda Station wagon....(estate) in NZ.

Probably 8/900cc. The colour was sort of pea green and off white roof! He soon had it resprayed to Canary yellow, easily spotted in car parks.

Tales of woe I'm afraid after my Octavia's diesel re call last year. Still ongoing major problems. EGR (I think thats the correct name?) valve done. Various visits to garage to sort stuff and now an injector gone. 

Should all 4 injectors be getting done then? Its all under the 'goodwill warranty' free repair etc etc but....the time lost by me, lost work (self employed) and the hassle with courtesy cars is a real problem too!
