Sorry if this has been covered but I can't find anything.

 

I've upgraded the speakers in my Octavia 1 L&K Estate. Went for components in the front and coaxials in the back.

 

Front woofers went in fine, but I can't get the tweeters in. The mounting for the OEM tweeters seems to be different to what I've got (same size though).

 

Has anyone else had this issue and solved it? It's frustrating as in hindsight I'd have just gone for coaxials all around.

Ah but were they for an Octavia or something else, Golf etc

 

OK - so you need to get the dremel and or hot glue gun out to sort that
