As the title suggests - Skoda Connect has suddenly failed to connect - been working fine for weeks now (since I bought an O2 mobile WiFi).  I’m now getting a system error code 500.  It’s not an issue with the WiFi as the carwon’t connect to our home WiFi when parked outside either.

Definately a skoda issue then bud. Phones never not connected until this week. St Ives to Derby tomorrow will be done through android auto for Google maps or waze. We know how bad the a30 will be 

As per my other topic I've now had the 500 Server error too. 

Not had that yet as not been in the car for a couple of days. Shall see tomorrow.  Not on android 8.0 yet only on 7.0 so strange not working

As if by magic, all working normally yesterday.  Oh, and an email from Skoda in response to my query apologising for my complaint and asking sor more details of the problem.  Seems left hand and right hand don’t know what they are doing!

Where did you get the error 500? Mine simply wasn't doing anything ie i just had the 'red globe of death' on the screen. Hopefully its all sorted now anyway

When messing around trying to get it to load - didn’t come up every time, but when ŠkodaConnect icon said please retry.

Shall have a look later at mine. Phone and car said connected but no white globe. So hopefully they've sorted it there end.

yeah thats what mine was doing, wifi dongle on internet verified over 1300 miles by 3 year old with ipad (thank god). car connected to dongle - no skoda connection. Seems a bit dumb that the car can only get on the internet via Skoda connect as opposed to using the DHCP/DNS from the wifi dongle but there you go.
