Hi newbie here. Got our Kodiaq SE L 1.4TSI 150 DSG 4x4 on order being shipped over from another branch. We’ve specified to add a space saver spare but does this affect the variable boot depth at the back of the Kodiaq? If so we are going to ask them not to fit it and turn on the traffic sign monitor instead if that’s possible? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I don't believe so - without the spare wheel, you just get a big foam insert with the tyre gunk and pump... I believe it just replaces that.

It's possible through VCDS, but your dealer won't do it.

That’s great thank you I’ll leave the option on then as it’s a more sensible option in the long run. How much would a VCDS charge to do that and is it possible on the SE L? Thanks again

You can either buy the cable/software yourself, or find someone nice on here close to you to do it (usually for a beer or two).
