As titled.

 

I've just purchased a Mk1 Octavia VRS ECU which apparently has a Stage 2 Rtech remap and lauch / anti lag on it.

 

The other mods the donor car had are very similar to mine although I dont have an oversize silicone TIP and was mapped to around 240bhp

 

Just wondered if anyone had done similar, trying to work out if I got a good deal over the cost of mapping 

It cant just be plugged in I believe as it needs some extra work due to the immobiliser, cant quite remember what!

Apparently the immobiliser has been deleted so it can be used on any other AUQ engine

that will work fine, but your better cloning you eeprom chip contents and copying them to the new ecu so your immo still works
