Skoda Fabia Roofbats

Featured Replies

Hello, I’m new here so apologies if this subject has been done before. I’ve just had a set of skoda roof bars fitted to my Fabia mk3 hatch along with a couple of Thule cycle racks. The roofbars fit over the edge of the roof and under the door seals. 3 seals are fairly flush but the passenger side one is rather mis-shapen.. nothing too drastic but I can’t seem to change it and wondered if it might cause problems. One pic shows an ok flush fitting seal and the other the passenger front door seal. Has anyone else had any issues with these bars? Thank you

Is the angle of the portion fitted under the rubber identical on both side and do the parts that go up to the rail look at the same angle - pads on roof may not be equi-distance from theoretical roof centreline. May be worth removing bar, rotate 180 degrees and see if problem transfers to the other side.
