Finally collected new car today and been out for nice 50mile drive ,

Very nice and virtually identical to mine that I collected yesterday however, you’ve the other wheels.  Must say, I’m really pleased with the colour and how it seems to change depending on the light hitting it.

yeah colour is lovely , will be giving it a coat of poorboys EXP today to enhance the shine , think the wheels suit it , dealer said that someone choose the same colour after seeing our car before we collected which is a bit annoying as I knew there were only two including ours on the island !

Mine will be coming with the standard Braga wheels but I must admit having seen a few photos of the other type I do think they look better. Good choice. 

Petrol Blue? That's what I have and I love it. Looks subtly different in every light.

Yeah the car / colour has had compliments all week , I wasn't sure if it was the right choice at time of ordering , but well happy now I have seen it in the flesh .

Our first test drive was in a petrol blue so made the decision easy. Second was in one of the many greys which just cemented the choice!

Me too, glad I chose the PB colour and works SOOOOOOOO well with the beige seats.   

Love the beige interior , but I was worried about how easy it would mark up , had a mx5 kendo with dolphin grey leather seats and I was forever cleaning them , so practicality  took presidence over looks .

Must admit that I didn't think it would suit the Karoq, but it does, it looks brilliant.

 

I shall be going for something different though, to have a change.

Picked up my black SEL 1.5 yesterday. Only done a few miles so far, but loving it. So smooth and refined, compared to the 118d I've come from. The ride feels firm enough through the corners, but soft enough for our terrible road surfaces. Can't tell when the start stop kicks in! Plenty of power when needed. Not had chance to test park assist yet though.

Hi Royston, yeah i must admit i was outside getting my motorcycle out of the garage when the wife went off to work in the Rooker  (as i call it) this morning and after the 2.0tdi yeti we had it was so quiet starting up and and driving off down the road , get some pictures up so we can see black beauty ....... did you specify any extras ?

get yourself some of this, i cant recommend it highly enough and it smells lovely if your into detailing your car..

Here it is. It looks pretty imposing in black, I think. Only extras were the family pack and park assist. I don't do enough miles to justify anything like ACC. Thanks for the suggesting the black hole stuff. I'm thinking about what to use to keep it looking like new. It's on lease so I've gotta look after it! I was going to get the best in bilthammer double speed wax, which gets good reviews. Anyone got other suggestions? 

i love the look of black cars but i know how quick the dust settles and shows on them , its bad enough on the petrol blue ! 

different polishes used opens up a whole new debate and everybody has there favourites which works best for them
