Featured Replies

hi there so i park up my skoda superb 2009 on the drive and the battery died so i charged the battery and now my rear heating seats wont work the rear windows wont work and the lighter socket wont all fuse are ok

Dead or dying batteries result in very unusual symptoms, a common issue with the Superb.

What discharged the battery?

Even if recharging the battery has allowed the engine to turn over / start OK, this doesn't always mean the battery is good.

If the battery is the original, for the sake of £80, I'd be replacing it.

An 096 Varta E44 is a good place to start.

If you have a battery control module it needs programming for the new battery with vcds.

It could be that the bcm has disabled functions it knows the failed battery can not handle. (guess)
