Notice on UK Configurator

Featured Replies

"Factory orders from June will reflect Model Year 19 specification and pricing. Our website and configurator reflects Model Year 18 specifications (including fuel efficiency and emissions performance) and pricing. These models are available from UK stock only. Please speak to your local ŠKODA retailer for more information."

Anyone know when the UK configurator usually gets updated after the model changes?

I would suspect the delays caused by WLTP certification are responsible here and that this is not just the usual MY changeover.

Could be a while.

Do what they say to do,  "Please speak to your local Skoda retailer for more information'.     Please post what you are told.

It will be Simply Clever if Skoda CZ / UK have told them what to say.   Which models available, which prices, what WLTP results are, Co2 g/km, VED band etc.

I spoke to Skoda customer care who told me the car was Euro 6 or 7 when I asked for emissions.

i just wanted to know if it was 6c or 6d Temp they were testing to, but they came up with nothing useful, even telling me it was against the law to tell me.

what a load of cobblers

well they know about breaking the law, dont they?

Pity that they can not honestly say, we do not know, we are not being kept informed, and we know that making it up as we go along can land us in court,

civil actions and the likes.

Skoda UK has a new boss, Rod McLeod, seemingly a great communicator, great sales person, hand picked by VW group and big upped by VW UK Paul Willis.

Paul Willis that seemingly members of the British Parliament said was a liar while they had parliamentary privilege.

Asked the dealer who is going to ask a specialist team. Fingers crossed for an answer or it’s all off.

This site has a load of useful info about the changes to WLTP all laid out in an easily readable format. Helps to explain what is a complex process clearly with a timeline.

The current instability is simply part of the transition.  I am guessing that the updated results will be available as part of re-opening the order books hence the notes on the config site.

It’s not that, most other manufacturers are saying if the cars will be certified to 6d-Temp and all Skoda did was talk cobblers and refuse.

You don’t put 20 to 30k down without some knowledge with a company that has lied before.

They’re taking orders, so you would hope...

I heard order books are due to reopen mid to late July..

But which year?

RickTT, who did you hear it from?

If everyone on the forum says who tells them when order books open or where they read it then there might be less need for all the doubt and internet myth on ever section of Briskoda.

As guidance, a major uk leasing company who were advised when the books closed for orders and time frame expected for when new orders will be taken...

Note - there are a lot of other car manufactures in a similar position.

Only VAG will be able to 100% confirm

They are all in the same situation with WLTP.

Just some have better communications with Dealership employees & customers and potential customers on order books open or closed.

Skoda is big on simply clever,  so if they spin less on new models, new faster Kodiaq etc and just do press releases on when cars car be ordered and delivery expected Rod McLeod and his management team will be simply doing a good sales job.

I was told by Skoda UK that petrol engined models won't be available to order until 1st October.
