Hi, I have a problem with the electronic window of the passenger side of my Fabia. Actually I let it open and some water got in. Now it doesn't work, the window works because I can control it with the switch on the driver side but when I press "down" on the passenger side's switch it doesn't work. But when the window is down and I press "down" it goes up. So summing the "up" button doesn't work and the "down" button works as the "up" button. What should I check?

Switch has probably got something funky going on due to the water ingress. I would take the switch out, make sure it is dried properly by taking it apart and spraying some electrical cleaner or wd40 in it and try again. If it doesn't work chances are the switch is buggered.

 

Also check the contacts in the plug that goes on to the switch for corrosion.
