I guess it can be used as proof that the current ones are a valid choice due to being (belated) “clean diesel” technology .

Selling the news is the challenge.

Is this a good time to point out that the M8, M74 and M77 aren't under the control of the local council?

I like the Roll Royce that they were gifted by Tunnocks, but i do not think it is a EV version. 

Maybe a Tesla would have been better & also one for Nicola Sturgeon MSP for Official Duties rather than a Skoda.

Birmingham to do similar announced today.

45 of the larger cities to do likewise and send diesel car values even lower if this is the thin end of the wedge.

VAG DIESELGATE has a lot to answer for.

It certainly had. 

The UK Governments & EU Governments were doing little about pollution, and now still are doing little, but now people are more aware of it.

Lots of buyers choosing petrol version to replace their diesel cars at renewal time especially if the are regular visitors to the 45 uk cities and need to be so in the next few years.  

Will it stay at EURO 5/6a emmision levels or even tighter before much longer.

It would be good if the people with the effected vehicles could sue VAG for causing dieselgate.....oh and the government for offering motorists incentives to change to diesel .

I hope this hasn't kept the price of my Tunnocks unnecessarily high! 

Minimum pricing of alcohol is more of an issue for us that likes high strength cheap booze, we can always get cheap munchies even allowing for the sugar tax.

 

New Wagon wheels are just so much better than they were.

I rarely make it past my dark chocolate Tunnocks wafers before I slip into a sugar coma
