Auto-Dipping Wing Mirror(s) not working

Featured Replies

My Edition is supposed to have wing mirrors that auto-dip when selecting reverse gear. I've ticked the checkbox in the Vehicle Settings menu but neither wing mirror is dipping when I select reverse. Is there anything else I need to activate?

The knob for the mirror control must be in the position for the passenger mirror adjustment.

Thank you agedbriar, I'll try this (I guess I could also set up Seat Memory Position 3 to have both wing mirrors dipped lower so I can see the kerbs when reversing whatever side of the road I am on).

My Karoq Edition will dip the N/S mirror when I put the car into reverse but will not return automatically at any speed. I think it meant to revert to normal at about 15mph.

Any ideas??

Yes, it's a known issue, Skoda are supposedly in the process of developing a software fix to cure it. Yes, another one!

Mine produced in mid April 2019 doesn't have this issue. Mirror returns back to normal after driving in D. I think it's about 15km/h, not miles.

Would be nice to merge with this topic:

Thanks, but whether 15 kliks or  15 mph, my n/s mirror still won't come back up.
