What's the issue you're experiencing?

I don't have the virtual pedal but I have read on here that it requires a certain technique to get it to work, which for some takes practice.

I don't have it either, but its apparently requires more of a kicking motion (forward and back) rather than a waggle (side to side).

Kick in works 95% of the time for me.

Turn the clock back 12 months plus.

I cursed mine for a long time.

It wouldn’t work for me or for a few others.

Eventually things bedded in and it now works most of the time.

I’m 100% sure we were making the right motions in the right place.  There was no reason to it.

I don’t know where the sensor lives. I lay down and searched.

Just persevere.  Hopefully you’ll find what works for you and your bear.

ps - it’s wonderful when it’s working and you have your arms full.

This is exactly the same on my S3.

I remember thinking there was a problem when trying out the sideways ‘kick’ but that was just the foolishness of the operative! :blush

I had one on my last car and couldn't get it to work at all. Spent more time trying to get it to work then putting my bags down and using the key so in the end I have up. Haven't went for it this time as I just got angry with the damn thing!

The sensor is in the middle part of the rear diffusor.

Kick under the car from rear to front and then step back immediately (if you are stood too close to the boot then it will not open.)

On my Superb i don’t even stand in the middle of the car, I stand by the drivers side rear light and kick towards the centre of the rear diffuser (so I am actually kicking at about a 30° angle) and 90% of the time it opens first time.
