Cut a long story short, I work for Tesco and the company have decided to have a massive overhaul of the 99ron fuel.

1.Massive Sponsorship campaign with Rallys....ok no-one cars but....

2. If you local Tesco PFS has 97ron, it's being upgraded to a 99ron one within the next couple of months. First major roll-outs will start this coming Sunday night, with the North-East and North-West having the major initial roll-outs ( mostly due to the fact dan saff already have 99ron ).

what about the Tesco stations that don't have 97 yet, I live in stockport and we have a huge Tesco in Portwood, does not have SUL yet but as it is very recently opened could be that they have been waiting for the 99 Ron to be available, anyway tried this and it seems very good stuff!

Well my Tesco's petrol should be coming from the same depo than a Stockport PFS, so best bet would be too phone the store and ask the petrol guys if their having their pumps changed in the next coming weeks. If not I'm back in work Monday and I can have a look for you.

Cheers, that would be great if it is, it's cheaper as good if not better than optimax and if its local well its a no brainer really!

Might explain why there are two (identical) diesel hoses on each pump there?! I've always wondered about that... :confused:

Tesco Windle (not Haydock) Island, A580, in St Helens has had 99ron fuel for a couple of months. v cheap.

and When is Tescos bringing out a Super Deisel

I don't like Tescos at the moment as they took over my only supply of Ultimate Deisel that isn't a 10+mile trek
