Hi all, ive recently purchased a 14 plate skoda octavia mk111, its making a weird stuttering noise/knocking noise when in P/N mode only, when in ds its completly fine, any help would be much aporeciated T.I.A

Best go see a mechanic that knows about VW Group cars, or just one with a ramp & ASAP. 

How many miles has it done, and when last serviced or had a MOT?

 Has the DSG had an Oil Change at 40,000 miles?

 

Is this a TDI or a TSI?  Not that it matters, best get it checked out. 

Thanks for reply, its tdi, full service history also had oil change for dsg, 96000 miles on clock
